ABOUT US
Suzette A.E. Chaumette, MPH
Suzette is a Community Health Scientist with 20+ years international and domestic patient engagement experience for clinical and community settings including for The Permanente Medical Group, Louisiana Office of Public Health, U.C. San Francisco, U.C. Berkeley, and Zamni Lasante (Partners in Health, Haiti). Her expertise lie in patient engagement, developing multilingual patient-facing content, health and wellness communications, and workshop facilitation.
Suzette holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Holy Names University and an MPH in Community Health Sciences from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and is a Cultural Humility facilitator.
The founder of Chaumette Consulting, Suzette believes in strong collaboration & consults with public and private institutions to develop programs that support effective, efficient partnerships between client and provider.
An Oakland, CA native, Suzette enjoys much of what the Bay Area offers - farmers markets, hiking, gardening, music and dance. She and her husband have two young children and are both supporters of the arts.

Dave Newhouse, M.D., MPH
Dr. Newhouse is a healthcare professional who strives to be an alchemist - utilizing data to unlock unrecognized correlation and to create more advantageous practices. He's passionate about helping businesses to better serve underrepresented communities, is analytical, resourceful, versatile and effective with diverse stakeholders. Dave is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at St Mary's College and is a retired Ob/Gyn physician from The Permanente Medical Group. His roles have included staff physician, Chief of the Fremont Ob/Gyn department, Assistant Physician in Chief for Fremont and Program Director for the Fremont IVF Center. Coaching available for service, diversity, marketing performance improvement and leadership development.

Ellen Morrison, LCSW
Ellen Morrison, LCSW and professional facilitator has been in the field of community mental health for nearly twenty years focused on integrating practices that interrupt cycles of trauma and oppression. Utilizing a participatory approach, Ellen has developed curriculum and facilitated learning across diverse groups in educational, clinical, organizational and social service settings. She leads training relevant to navigating the complexities of organizations and human behavior including cultural humility, trauma, attachment, restorative practices, team decision making, and play/expressive arts.
Ellen received her graduate training in Social Work from SFSU, culminating in the study of Power Dynamics in Cross-Cultural Supervision and continues to bring attention to the analysis of power as a core element of interpersonal and social change. She currently serves as a board member of the Pacific Association for Women Martial Artists and Diversity 2000: a non-profit and community dedicated to the development of diverse equity, inclusion and social justice leaders, thinkers and practitioners. Ellen currently has a psychotherapy, mediation and consultation practice in Berkeley, CA serving groups, families, couples, individuals and organizations.

Sandrine M. Chaumette, MBA
Sandrine Chaumette is a marketing communications professional who synthesizes very complex information into readable, compelling content and can elevate your organization and product visibility. Her expertise lie in writing and editing articles, marketing collateral, and web content; generating story ideas; and managing marketing communications projects.
Melanie Tervalon, MD, MPH
Dr. Tervalon is a pediatrician by training. Her seminal article on cultural humility, together with her hands-on leadership with public, private, and nonprofit organizations has helped to change the way professionals, service providers, institutions – and entire fields – approach their work in the community and within institutions and organizations.

Haguerenesh Woldeyohannes, MPH, RN
Hagi’s expertise lie in fostering bidirectional dialogue in clinical and public health environments between target audiences, health research and program developers. She conducts focus groups and connects key informants to healthcare organizations to inform clinical interventions and public health program development. She will support you and your audiences identify health intervention priorities and address them through community partnerships with providers and the health care system.

Diana Campoamor
Diana Campoamor is President (ret.) of Hispanics in Philanthropy, a network of philanthropists that includes most of the international foundations and many corporations in the United States. Under her leadership, HIP has invested over $40 million in small Latino nonprofits and leaders. Using an innovative and collaborative approach, Diana advises Chaumette Consulting clients with supporting grassroots organizations in partnership with local funders and donors in the US and Latin America.
